Composite Core Aluminum Conductor

Aluminum composite core conductor cable is a new generation of traditional reinforced aluminum conductor cable. ACSR Conductor. As a most commonly used type of HTLS driver, It has the advantages of being light, tensile strength, good thermal stability, small slip and corrosion resistance.

Technical characteristics:

  • Composite core aluminum conductor has a lower coefficient of thermal expansion than conventional conductors, allowing the center gusset core to have better sag when operating at high temperatures.
  • This conductor is hardly affected by the creep of the outer aluminum wire.
  • Driver has self-damping characteristics, what makes the line anti-vibration, no need for vibration damping devices.

ACSS Conductor y ACSS/TW

Conductive ACSS is composed of a steel core and annealed aluminum wires. The conductivity of annealed aluminum wire is up to 63%IACS, which favors capacity expansion and energy conservation.

Technical characteristics:

  • The current carrying capacity of the conductor ACSS at 150℃ is 1,5 times that of ACSR with the same area at 90℃.
  • Annealed aluminum wire can save about one 2% more energy than hard aluminum wire. Under the same transmission conditions, loss can be reduced by 3%.

Invar Conductor - TACIR and ZTACIR

The INVAR conductor is composed of an invar clad aluminum core and heat resistant aluminum alloy wires.. This conductor is suitable for retrofitting old lines. You can keep the same arrow while increasing capacity.
